Below are a few pieces of writing I have completed pertaining to a proposed prison reform and defining and proposing experiments correlated with crime theories. Also, a TED talk created to discuss the usage of the phrases "acting white" and "acting black."
Persuasive Policy Essay
The goal of my Persuasive Policy Essay was to find a public issue, educate the reader on the issue, and then propose a policy that would help find a resolution for the issue.
CRIM Theory Essay
The purpose of this essay was to provide knowledge that I understood Patrick Sharkey's book Uneasy Peace: The Great Crime Decline, The Renewal of City Life, and The Next War on Violence. Then, described several theories we learned in class and how they pertained to the book with a proposed experiment to test a theory to conclude.
